The AFTCO Maxforce XH Big Game Fishing Harness is designed for anglers using heavy 50 lb to unlimited-class tackle when fighting large offshore game fish.
Its wide harness profile combines 20 mm closed-cell EVA foam padding with a 12 mm lumbar pad to provide added support across the lower back and seat area. The wider spacing between the removable lumbar and seat pads helps distribute heavy loads more evenly when used with a fighting belt.
A durable stretch CORDURA polyester outer layer resists demanding marine use, while the waterproof Lycra polyester cover and synthetic terry cloth liner improve comfort. The liner helps wick away moisture and provides enough grip to reduce unwanted sliding over shirts, shorts or bare skin.
Self-adjusting reel attachment straps, stainless-steel D-rings and ultra-heavy-duty nylon webbing provide reliable connection and control. Double box stitching, reinforced straps and a molded safety handle enhance durability during intense fish fights.
The harness adjusts to fit waist sizes from approximately 28 to 50 inches and includes a ventilated mesh storage bag with grommets for rinsing and drying.
