Gamakatsu Assist Hook Land Jig Medium Double
The Gamakatsu Assist Hook Land Jig Medium Double (also called Assist Oka Jig Medium Double) is developed with a focus on solving one of the most common problems in shore jigging—hooks getting tangled around the jig and causing missed hook-ups. When fishing from the shore, even a solid bite can be lost if the hook is wrapped around the jig. To address this, Gamakatsu designed a refined anti-tangle system by applying a precisely sized tube to the assist line.
This tube is engineered to be neither too long nor too short, ensuring the assist hook maintains high mobility while reducing the risk of tangling. The result is a more stable, reliable assist hook ideal for medium-class shore jigging targets such as mejiro (young yellowtail) and warasa, as well as unexpected strikes from larger yellowtail near the surface.
Each hook pair uses PE No. 15 assist line, a clean, corrosion-resistant hook finish, and Gamakatsu’s dependable double-hook configuration for increased hookup potential. Available in sizes 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0, these hooks are supplied in packs of two pairs.
