The MAXEL Elemento Series Slow Jigging Rod is designed with a unique 3/7 action that produces excellent blank rebound and jig response. This action is particularly suitable for high-pitch jigging techniques used to trigger less-active fish.
The responsive blank transfers energy efficiently to the jig, helping maintain controlled movement when fishing heavier jigs in strong currents, deep water or multi-layer water flow. The series covers a broad range of jig weights and fishing depths, from shallow-water slow jigging to super-deep expedition fishing.
Models 511/6 and above feature a revised carbon-layer arrangement around the tip section, creating a faster taper and stronger rebound for presenting heavy jigs under increased water pressure.
