The Ripple Fisher Aquila Series was developed for offshore casting anglers who need a balance of casting distance, lure control and dependable fighting power. Different blank characteristics allow anglers to select a rod according to lure size, target species, casting style and required power.
The 74M and 81M Basic models are lighter PE3-class rods offering sharp handling and excellent casting control for yellowtail, kingfish, bonito and other pelagic species. The 81M extends the casting capability of the 74M while adding greater butt power.
The 87MH adds more power and resilience while maintaining a relatively light and responsive feel. It was developed for accurate long casts with small-to-medium lures and is suited to tuna casting applications up to roughly the 50 kg class according to Ripple Fisher’s original positioning.
The 74MH Nano Sensitive Type combines a softer tip with strong and fast lifting power. Its compact 7’4″ length is particularly useful for underhand casting from charter boats while still supporting normal overhead casting from smaller boats.
The 78MH Nano and 81H Nano Extreme Type provide sharper manual lure control and greater power. The 78MH focuses on extremely responsive casting and lure manipulation, while the 81H offers PE6-class strength, strong lifting power and a blank that remains responsive during powerful fights
