The Tackle House Tsuno Horn Jig is a groundbreaking evolution in jig design — a fusion of ancient inspiration and modern engineering. Originating from Japan’s late Kofun period, early fishermen crafted artificial hooks from horns, shells, and whale bones, laying the foundation for today’s artificial lures. The Tsuno series revives that legacy using advanced hybrid construction of resin and lead, creating a jig that shines, swims, and lasts unlike any conventional metal jig.

Traditional jigs fade over time as coatings wear and paint chips away. The Tsuno solves this with its Yumikaku resin body, which retains its internal color and brilliance even after scratches or contact with rocks. Structurally, one side is made of lead for controlled descent, and the other from high-buoyancy resin for fluttering action.
