The Ripple Fisher SELFISH AJ (Aggressive Jerk) Series is designed for anglers who want sharp, high-response jig control and the ability to react quickly to changing current and fish activity.
Compared with softer jigging rods, the AJ series uses a higher-tension blank that extends firmness through the tip, helping transmit direct action to the jig even in deeper water or strong current. Fast blank recovery allows anglers to create crisp slides, high-speed jerks and controlled pauses that can trigger reaction bites from inactive or pressured fish.
The AJ612 is a light and highly sensitive coastal model for jigs up to the 150 g class. The AJ603 adds more power for the 180 g class while retaining sharp handling and refined sensitivity. The AJ5105B is the heavy-duty baitcasting model, developed for strong current, deep jigging beyond 150 m and large amberjack applications where heavyweight jigs and sustained control are required.
