About this product
AFTCO Taper-Tip Aluminum Gaff GFA256 GLD is built for anglers who need strength, speed, and control when landing fish at the boat. Its slim, tapered shaft design allows the gaff to move quickly through the water, helping improve maneuverability and accuracy during use. The shaft is made from corrosion-resistant marine aluminum and is swaged to provide uniform strength throughout the full length without adding unnecessary weight. The anodized gold finish improves resistance to saltwater corrosion while maintaining AFTCO’s classic appearance. A soft but durable black non-slip grip provides secure handling, while the black vinyl butt cap helps seal out moisture and protects boat decks from scratches. This model features a 6ft shaft, 2-inch hook spread, and 5/16-inch hook diameter. According to the supplied product information, GFA356 models and smaller are designed to float, which includes the GFA256.
