AFTCO Wire Max Big Game Leadering Gloves are heavy-duty saltwater fishing gloves designed specifically for leadering large and powerful game fish.
Developed using the expertise of renowned big-game skipper and IGFA Hall of Fame member Capt. Peter B. Wright, these gloves provide extensive protection when wrapping and controlling heavy monofilament, wire or cable leaders.
Closed-cell EVA foam covered with durable Armortex material wraps around the hand and lines the palm, fingers and thumb to help reduce pressure, abrasion and potential injury. Tacky-Grip surfaces on the palm, thumb and index fingertip improve control while maintaining the flexibility needed for precise leader handling.
Quick-drying Spandura finger panels and foam-backed mesh provide ventilation, protection and improved dexterity. A wrap-around neoprene strap with hook-and-loop closure secures the glove over the knitted cuff and helps prevent leaders from catching on loose material.
