The American Fishing Wire Titanium Surfstrand 1×7 Leader is designed for anglers targeting powerful, toothy fish where strength, flexibility, and kink resistance are essential. Made from AFW's specialized titanium alloy wire, the leader stretches under impact to help absorb aggressive strikes and then snaps back during the hook set. The 1×7 multi-strand construction provides excellent flexibility while resisting permanent kinking far better than conventional wire leaders. Each leader is supplied ready to fish with an AFW Mighty Mini stainless-steel swivel and a high-strength stainless-steel crosslock snap. Crimped connections are covered with black shrink wrap for a smooth, low-profile presentation. The dark Black Oxide / gunmetal finish helps reduce visibility in the water, while the corrosion-resistant terminal components make the leader well suited to demanding saltwater use. Ideal for species such as Wahoo, King Mackerel, Barracuda, Shark, Bluefish, and other toothy predatory fish.
