About this product
The Owner STX-60 is an advanced heavy-duty treble hook designed to provide an excellent balance between strength, penetration and hook-holding performance.
Its distinctive curved point is engineered differently from conventional curved hooks. OWNER designed the point geometry to behave closer to a straight point during the initial strike, helping increase hook-up opportunities while retaining the deeper penetration and secure holding characteristics of a curved hook.
A wide gape increases the opportunity for the hook point to make contact with the fish, while the shortened taper makes the point section thicker and stronger. To compensate for the additional point thickness, OWNER incorporates a small under-barb, allowing smoother penetration with less resistance.
The STX-60 is constructed from OWNER’s TAFF WIRE, providing high tensile strength without unnecessary weight. The forged construction further reinforces the hook for heavy loads and powerful fish.
Finished in corrosion-resistant TIN, the STX-60 is particularly suited to saltwater lure fishing, tropical fishing and other demanding applications involving large plugs, poppers, stickbaits and heavy hard lures.
