The Tackle House Contact FLITZ is a compact, heavy sinking pencil designed for exceptional casting distance and stability at any speed. Its streamlined body, high weight, and low air resistance allow it to reach distant schools even in strong winds, while its horizontal fall posture flashes and triggers strikes instantly upon splashdown.
The flat-sided body produces a tight wobbling action that perfectly mimics fleeing baitfish, and a built-in stabilizer fin keeps the lure steady during ultra-fast retrieves yet responsive during slower ones—ideal for bluefish, sea bass, or flounder in straits and currents.
Constructed with a 1 mm laser-cut through-wire frame and super-hard coating, the FLITZ withstands the brutal power and sharp teeth of tuna, bonito, dorado, and mackerel. Since its 2004 debut, it has set the standard for long-casting sinking pencils, with the FLITZ.42 (90 mm / 42 g) suited for large pelagics and the FLITZ.24 (80 mm / 24 g) optimized for lighter inshore game.
