About this product
The YGK Galis Algon Assist WGX Knot Type Assist Cord is a premium braided assist cord made for anglers who need strong, stable, and reliable hook connections. Designed with WGX 2×4 construction, this cord provides excellent tension, knot security, and durability when creating assist hooks for jigging.
Its removable core allows anglers to replace the inner core with fluorocarbon, nylon, or wire for added abrasion resistance, especially when targeting fish with sharp teeth. The cord is made from EX Izanus PE material with an ester mono core, giving it a balanced combination of strength, flexibility, and controlled stiffness.
This assist cord is ideal for tying single or double assist hooks and is suitable for shore jigging, offshore jigging, slow jigging, and heavy-duty lure setups.
