The Hots Debutan Jig is the third model in the Keitan Jig series, created as a short-type metal jig that emphasizes control, stability, and ease of producing a “stay” action. Unlike long-slide jigs that accelerate quickly after a jerk, the Debutan Jig is designed to slow down its forward movement immediately after jerking, allowing the lure to pause—creating a long, attractive “stay time” in the strike zone.
This controlled behavior makes it especially effective when fish are not aggressively chasing fast-moving jigs. The compact body produces sharp yet restrained action, making it highly suitable for kingfish, amberjack, yellowtail, and other species that respond better to short, slow, or paused movements.
