The Hots Metal Jig Otoko Jig is a premium saltwater jig created through extensive field testing by master angler Seiichi Nagai, who refined its shape on countless fishing trips. The final design features a long and ultra-thin silhouette that allows the jig to drop smoothly, slide widely during the jerk, and maintain exceptionally low pulling resistance. This balance of movement makes the jig comfortable to work for long periods, even in demanding offshore conditions.
During the fall, the Otoko Jig produces an unpredictable, irregular action that consistently triggers reaction bites from aggressive predators. Its slim profile and long body make it effective for both slow-pitch and high-pitch jigging techniques, allowing anglers to adjust their rhythm according to depth, current strength, or fish behavior.
The Otoko series includes multiple weight options to match different environments. The Regular Type is available in 130g, 150g, and 180g for standard offshore jigging. The DZ Type at 200g is designed for deeper water and fast currents, while the Expedition Type in 230g and 280g offers the power and presence needed for targeting large kingfish, amberjack, and dogtooth tuna.
