The Major Craft ZOC Power Type Assist Hook – Dual Series is engineered specifically for heavy-duty vertical jigging. Built with a reinforced Power Type heavy-wire hook, it delivers outstanding penetration and superior holding strength, making it ideal for targeting powerful offshore predators such as yellowtail, kingfish, and amberjack.
The Dual Assist (DL) configuration uses two hooks arranged in parallel. When one hook penetrates the fish, the second hook naturally follows due to the load on the assist cord, creating a secure “double-lock” effect. This dramatically increases landing rates, especially during fast jigging or when fighting large and aggressive fish.
