The Major Craft ZOC Type HS Single Assist Hooks share the groundbreaking technology of the ZOC lineup, designed to overcome the difficulty of transmitting hooking power in light tackle and deep-area jigging. The new ZOC HOOKS are engineered to ensure reliable hook-sets (“surely hang the fish!”).

The design balances reduced weight (thinner axis) with high durability. The hook features an ideal triple blade point, which is produced via press working to improve strength and abrasion resistance, ensuring deep penetration. The tip is turned slightly inward, guaranteeing the needle always faces upward during hooking. Crucially, Major Craft replaced conventional shrinkable tubes with their innovative Z-HARD COAT—a high-altitude resin used for rod guide wrapping. This coating reduces water resistance, improves durability, and contributes to weight reduction. Furthermore, the assist line has fluorocarbon line added into its core, which significantly helps in setting the hook much better.

The Type HS is characterized by its precise length options (HS10 through HS50), allowing anglers to perfectly match the assist cord length (10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, or 50mm) to the jig size and action, preventing snagging and maximizing hook-up efficiency. All materials are
