The Sunline SM Shock Leader NY Mono Leader Line is a premium nylon shock leader built for demanding saltwater fishing. Made with a special high-tenacity nylon masterbatch, it delivers a high breaking strain with low water absorption, so it stays strong and reliable for longer use. In addition, its controlled stretch helps absorb sudden loads from lure movement, strikes, and the first powerful run—reducing shock and lowering the risk of breakage.
For extra durability, it features UV-resistant processing to protect against sun damage and Triple Resin Processing to maintain strength and suppleness even when knotted, while improving shock and wear resistance. Finally, Parallel Spooling helps minimize curling and allows the leader to come off the spool smoother and straighter. Suitable for all-round saltwater applications.
