Varivas Ocean Record Shock Leader

Built for serious offshore casting, the VARIVAS Ocean Record Shock Leader is a high-performance premium nylon mono leader developed in collaboration with Seiichiro Tashiro, one of Japan’s top Hiramasa (Yellowtail Kingfish) anglers. It was also recognized at the 2018 European Union Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition as a Best New Product Runner-up, making it a trusted choice for demanding saltwater conditions.

Engineered for power and control, it delivers extra-strong shock absorption while maintaining optimal stiffness—so it won’t kill your lure action during casting or retrieves. The Misty Purple translucent color is designed to appear nearly invisible in deep water, giving you stealth when it matters most. Each spool includes a VARIVAS spool band.
